Sound Wave Propagation and Invisibility Geometries

Research project in applied mathematics at École polytechnique, supervised by Prof. Lucas Chesnel. I studied how the solution of a partial differential equation modelling acoustic wave propagation depends on the geometry of the domain, in order to determine conditions that inhibit reflection or achieve perfect transmission — geometries that are “invisible” to incoming waves.
